To use the EQUNet IRC Network you will have to obey the rules listed below. If
you use EQUNet, you will have to give credit
where due. For instance this means that if you use EQUNet you can't claim
the network (or it's services) to be yours.
No illegal (as seen by national and international laws) actions are
allowed on the network. The following are strictly
forbidden on the network:
- Warez (includes mp3 if unpaid for)
- Pornographical material
- Hacking, cracking and abuse of any kind
- Flooding of the network, of it's channels or it's users
- Spamming and advertising
Bots and other automated IRC behaviour such as scripts are allowed
unless they impose heavy load on the network or bother other users. There
is a enforced clone limit of 6 connections per host. If
you are unsure whether something is allowed or not, ask one of the IRC
operators.
