If your channel should become opless and your channel doesn't have a Network provided
oer bot, try to get yourself or someone else in your channel opped by using
Operservice's requestop. The syntax is:

/msg O requestop #channel [nick]
For instance to request channel operator status to yourself on channel #oerfans you
would write
-
/msg O requestop #oerfans
To request channel operator status to faraday on channel #oerfans you
would write
-
/msg O requestop #oerfans faraday
If Operservice messages you that there are currently one or more netsplits
wait 10-30 minutes and if Operservice still keeps complaining about netsplits
join #opers and ask one of the IRC operators to reset Operservice's netsplit status.
Missuse of Operservice's requestop will not be tolerated.
